The Stoneoak is a squat, ancient oak tree situated in the middle of the camp. This oak is as hard as stone, and seemingly indestructible. It has a large squirrel hole about halfway up and just above a long, thick branch. The Dux Ducis sleeps here in that large squirrel hole in a nest of lush grasses, feathers, leaves and moss. It is also where the Dux Ducis makes announcements and calls for meetings. Usually, two Proeliators perch gaurd on one of the branches, but only in tense seasons or in war.

This is the whole clearing, the area around the Stoneoak where birds can sit and preen or eat a meal. Freshly killed prey is placed on and around a hackbury stump near the eastern part of the clearing. The ground here is grassy in the Life and Sun Season, covered with fresh leaves and moss to muffle the sound of footsteps and further disguise the camp.

The Valetudo Custodis, or the healer of the Flock, has its own nest. Situated near the back of the clearing, it is an enlarged rabbit nest with tunnels that's about as wide and tall as an eagle's wingspan. It took many Seasons to carve out, but here it is. It leads to a large chamber in which the Valetudo keeps herbs and patients, and also sleeps.
valetudo custodis, PM me with the description of the inside of your chambers and I will place it here :]

The Thieves' Nestingplace is just a few feet away from the Stoneoak in a large gorse bush. The entrance is a small, circular tunnel that leads to a much larger chamber filled with soft downy feathers, moss, leaves, flowers, balls of hide for chicks to play with, and things of the like. Although they may not show it, the Thieves are very respectful toward their Matriarchs, as can be told from the fancy living-space here.

The elders' nesting area is a patch of particularly tall grasses, near the western edge of the clearing and by the Bramblewall. Here the elders sleep and eat and tell stories to the fledgelings and tiros. They are also sometimes visited by adults, seeking their wisdom. Tiros are responsible for feeding the elder birds.

The Bramblewall is the defensive barrier of brambles, twiggs and thorns surrounding the camp. On the inside of the camp and beside the Bramblewall are small depressions in the earth where leaves can be gathered and made in nesting spots for the Hunters, Poeliators, Tiros, and the Legatus. They can also nest in some of the few spindly trees scattered about the clearing were a few twig nests have been arranged by birds who have nothing better to do. It is preferred, however, that the Proeliators sleep near the Bramblewall so that they can fly upwards to protect the clearing from above or be able to protect the clearing on the ground from danger.
