c h a r a c t e r r u l e s.
hello! these are the rules for making characters and other such things. make sure to read these before joining or starting a bio, kay? kay :3 the password is also found here, so you might actually want to read it, not just skim.
- oo1. First of all, this is a fantasy role-play, so realism isn't really very important here :3 We encourage creativity and originality far above realism!
- oo2. No Mary or Gary Sues or whatever they're called. This is when your character is uppity duppity perfect with no flukes or bad habits in them whatsoever. These are very boring to role-play with, so we're not allowing them :3 When we go through bios, we'll be searching for some good flaws in your bird.
- oo3. OH.
MY. LORD. Please no super emos, super evils, so nices, super sarcastics, or SUPER DUPERS. Be creative and original with your bird's personality! This goes the same with their history, so no super sob stories where everyone the birds knows died tragically and he somehow manages it.
- oo4. Keep in mind your character's suffix in their name must be correct!
Rebels, or loners, can have any sort of name. Dux Ducisi suffixes are 'flight'. Ex; Blackflight, Longflight, Starryflight. Legatus suffixes are 'feather'. Ex; Blackfeather, Longfeather, Starryfeather. Tiro suffixes are 'wing'. Ex; Blackwing, Longwing, Starrywing. Hatchlings, or Fledgelings do not have suffixes. Ex; Black, Long, Starry. Valtudos, Hunters, Proeliators, Matriarchs, and Elders can have any sort of suffix. Ex; Blackclaw, Blackbeak, Blackwing, Longdive, Longcall, Longtail, Starrypath, Starrysky, Starrycloud.
- oo5. You can choose any Flock you want or not one at all, but keep in mind you must try to have your character meet the general personality of that Flock.
The Thieves are dark-hearted and known to be bandits, often stealing prey, eggs, and females from the other Flocks. They very picky about bloodlines, and will not accept a rebel or other Flockbird in without good reason. Some personalities differ from the general cold-hearted nature of this Flock, however. The Moonshadows appear secretive, solitary, more distanced from the other Flocks. They are, however, superb fighters and often consist of the bigger, more brawny and dark-colored birds. The Ashclouds are also quite nuetral but have a reputation for nasty tempers and stubborn-headedness. The genes for fire-type related powers run very strong in this Flock, though this is irrelevant. The Skywatchers are self-righteous and noble, ever-helpful and accepting of strangers, making them scorned upon by the Thieves and a few other Flocks. They are also very eager for alliances with other Flocks. The Floodlanders are the most nuetral Flock, with varied personalities. However, their general character depends greatly on the personality of the Dux Ducis. Their strong loyalty is unaffected by differences in leadership, though, and are especially reliable nd loyal. Rebel Groups have varied personalities, again this depends on the personality of the leader and what sort of general character the maker of this group gives it.
- oo6. Congrats! You've finished the rules, if you actually read them like I asked >_> Anyway, the codeword for the bio is in all caps and bolded somewhere.. you also need to multiply the age of your first bird by three and add that in with the bio as well :3 It should look something like this : passy, 3 x bird's age = whatever.
- oo7. You may only have TWO high spots at a time, one in the main flocks (Thieves, Ashclouds, Floodlanders, moonshadows, Skywtahcers) and one in a Rebel Group. Admins are exempt from this rule (don't worry, it's only this rule, we don't have any other super advantages) and may create either two main flock high spots or two rebel group spots, but no more than two.
- oo8. Dux Ducisi, Valetudo Custodises and Legatuses must be atleast three years of age.
Tiros and Valetudo Tiros are six months old. Fledgings are eggs, and then as six months they are made into Tiros. Proeliators and Hunters are twelve months and up. Elders are 10 years and up.
- oo9. Your bird's first power can be whatever you want; you can make it spit acid, turn into a robot, or sing a death lullaby or whatever you want! If you want a second power of your choice, however, you have to pay for it.
