The Rule Book I
OOC Rules :: chat box | general
Out Of Character information!

Part I :: Chat Box
- Advertising;;
- Keep it out of the chat box! I'm tired of putting rules everywhere saying no no no. I want to just say "Yes, This is the place you advertise" and leave it at that. Unfortunatly, most people seem to have no respect for others site. Sit for a minute and decide, OH- even though I'm a member… I should probably use the advertising board. Hmmm, but that might be a stupid idea! -sarcasm-
- Links in your names are fine. Sadly, many people abuse this power and put links to explicit or viral sites that are no good for the eyes or the computer! Please don't put these in your names, even if you think it's funny, because then I'll have to remove that field from the Chat box. Seriously! My computer was making very unhappy noises at me once when I clicked one of them… dun put another computer through such unhappiness!
- Image linking is fine with me… so long as it follows rule two and one. I also do not want flashing/strobe-ing/flickering images. They hurt my eyes and you never know if someone has issues with them. Also, if you put up a link to an image that could take a while to load, please say so.. I'm not going to click something that'll make more unhappy noises xD

- Moderators && Staff;;
- It is true that I do not give Moderators and other staff members power on the chat box. Only Target has those powers and she does not give them away so do not ask. This would involve either upgrading (yeah call me cheep but I'm not putting in two dollars a month for a better chat box… the one we have is fine) or giving them the password. It's not that I don't trust them I just like my organization on there and there are lots of things that can be changed that I just don't want to bother with.
- Oviously... Moderators on the site are still moderators on the chat box, same goes for other staff. We may end up assigning a chat-box moderator to yell at you if you do something bad, but that's only if things get out of hand. Please respect all mods the same as you would respect them on the board =D

- Other;;
- If A guest wants to know something about the site, do not be afraid to tell them whatever you'd like to. I'm sure they're really nice. If they advertise however, send me a link in PM style of their ad and I shall add them to the death affiliates >3
- Do not cuss every five words. From time to time things slip and people miss behave or are easily angered, but I do not believe that you can be in such a fowl mood so often that you need to cuss every day. I am not a fan of cussing and I have never cussed in my life and I prefer not to even hear it.
- Don't flood. That means more then five posts in the chat box without someone replying to the previous ones first. If no one is answering your "hello" posts, then no one is there to talk to you. DUH. However, if you are reading off an excerpt and there aren't enough characters within the contained five posts, you may continue to post ;3
- No information feeding over the chat box. If you want to give away AIM and MSN or Yahoo stuff, that's fine with me, but do not give away your entire real life name, your life story, where you live and your phone number. You don't know who these people are!
